I am having a hard time believing that it is already August 27th. It feels like the garden was just planted and that the season hasn’t given everything enough time to really flourish. The arrival of the sunflowers is a sure sign that the end is near yet the columbine is still sending out the odd bloom.

The seasons in Calgary are shifting. Spring is coming much later and our true summer weather seems to be waiting until August. Here’s to a long and glorious autumn.
